My touch screen on my Panasonic CF-29 has quite working and unable to re calabrate. Also evry time the unit gets bumped in the slightest a window pops up regarding certificate information. I have tried to uninstall/re-install the drivers and tried to re-calabrate. Here is the correct touchpad/touchscreen driver for a CF-29 Mk3 with XP: Touchscreen driver If you get 'This machine does not support' use WinRAR to extract the driver. Panasonic Toughbook CF-29. Panasonic released the CF-29 on January 1, 2004. It was designed to survive the harshest environments US Armed Forces, service personnel, and enthusiasts could throw at it.
Panasonic doesn't have XP drivers for their laptops?
I recently got a virus and had my computer wiped and reinstalled Windows XP Pro. Now my touchscreen and function keys don't work. I tried downloading drivers from Panasonic's website, but after unzipped when I try to click on any of them to install, nothing happens. The Acoustic Pulse Recognition (APR) and Projected Capacitive touch technologies are not supported by all operating systems including Mac and some versions of Linux. See the Technology notes for each driver on the Driver and File Downloads page to verify support for your touchscreen technology.
doesn't sound likely to me. probably a hardware issue, which panasonic probably is your best place to go to for repairs, unless your looking for cheap/free hardware repairs which, of course, doesn't exist.

Might need to check the settings on the monitor driver...
it may be something simple like a setting to enable touch on the monitor driver that is not checked.
